I have never tested XXXXXXXXX' cod liver oil. But if it's at all close to all the other cod liver oils out there on the market then it's impotent and/or bad. Sorry to sound so harsh but I have a whole story re: cod liver oil!
When I first self-published my book in 2007, XXXXXXXX wouldn't endorse it because I didn't have enough info in it on cod liver oil. The reason is that both clinically and energetically (I do the Matrix Reflex Testing - similar to kinesiology but a lot more sensitive) no cod liver oil tested well for me. I would try and try again - that is, stock some brand for awhile but then eventually have to throw it away after it sat on my shelf for months. You know about that I'm sure - patients have no idea how much money we lose in product!
Fast forward to August 2011 when my book was republished through a publishing company - XXXXX is now on the back cover as one of my major endorsers. I was able to include a lot on cod liver oil because Dave Wetzel went to Iceland and Norway and figured out how to ferment it according to the wise traditions of our ancestors. That makes it very bioavailable in fat soluble vitamins A, D and K2, and in the correct ratio. I can't keep this product on the shelf it tests so well, and patients really feel the difference.
Also, in my adults, skate liver oil tests better than the cod. I'm sure Dave told you that even in the 18th century this cartilaginous fish was known as a valuable anti-cancer remedy. Plus it has a affinity for healing soft tissue since it is a cartilaginous fish, vs the cod which is bony and therefore supports good teeth and bone development (so the cod liver tests a little more often for kids).
Hope this helps. Let me know if you want a complimentary copy of my book, "Radical Medicine," I would love to send you one!
Sincerely,
Louisa Williams

Reply after testing....
Thanks for sending a bottle XXXXXX. It doesn't test well for me. Again unless it is fermented in just the correct way like our ancestors did no cod liver oil tests well for me. Plus I'm guessing by the label that perhaps extra (synthetic) vitamin A and D were added to get these exact numbers in a so called natural product.
