This one burns me... most will view this new blood test technology as great science. The Blood test is supposed to detect even 1 part per x million of cells. i don't recall the exact statistic but in a nut shell it will make it easier to diagnose more and more people with cancer at lower and lower detection limits.
Bullet points to consider:
1. Our current insurance system could barely keep up with current medical costs and technology. This is why we are moving towards a tax payer and debt payment system.
2. Now that we are moving towards a health care system that will put an ever increasing burden on our children/taxes the medical community see's this as an opportunity to get a bigger pc of the pie.
3. everytime a hospital can diagnose 'cancer' it is a revenue boost of $750,000 to 3 million per person diagnosed /.... cha-ching...
do i really have to spell out what this is all about? we all have cancer cells in our bodies...ugh....
at some point we all have to be accountable for our own health and not point the finger at others or at this or that. nor burden the payment on others.
