Specific Emulsified FCLO customer feed back

See all 2 Comments

Thank you to all that replied with your feed back.  Your help is appreciated and will help others in their decision making.

Below are some specific feed back replies on the topic of Emulsified FCLO. I hope it helps you in your decision making process. My conclusion is all are different. Once one finds something they like they stick with it and anything new is sometimes difficult to appreciate/make a switch.

If you are a ‘mint’ person then mint will be the best flavor. If you are a person sensitive to textures then  this or that product will be your favorite. I crave the ginger emulsified FCLO but you will see below some agree but others appreciate alternative products.

Just sending in some feedback as you requested on the blog. I ordered the Peppermint emulsified FCLO and butter oil products about a month ago. Honestly I really dislike the butter oil but I was so pleasantly surprised by the FCLO. I was really hesitant to even try it but decided I could get through at least one bottle. But it's been fine! I enjoy the peppermint taste and I've had absolutely no fishy taste or burps at all. It does burn a bit on the way down but with the flavor being so tasty, I actually find myself licking the drips off the spoon :) I would like to try the other flavors but I'm reluctant to switch from peppermint since it's so good. So hooray for FCLO!.

Dear David,

We have been using the new emulsified licorice flavored product. I am so glad that you choose licorice because both my girls are taking it ages 5 & 2. They refused the cinnamon and chocolate flavors.

We do get some burning in the throat, but not to bad.

Taste is good, no oil smell at all. Little too spicy (anis).

Kids hate anything healthy anyway. I do best with royal free on kids.

Best,

D

I am new to taking any kind of CLO, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I ordered one ea. of the Ginger, Licorice and Peppermint. Tried the Licorice first. It is OK. The Ginger next, I really didn't like it. I used it up first to get it over with. The Peppermint, I tried last and it is by far my favorite. It is the only one I will reorder. I don't mind stirring at all if it means a higher quality product. Thanks!

I have only tried the ginger.

I find it easier to take, it tastes better, and doesn't feel as funny on my throat.
So far, I like it better.

I'll add my feedback here....My husband and I really love the ginger flavor! At first it was a little strong for me, as I am not one of those who usually appreciates strong ginger flavors, but it grew on me and now I love it. It reminds me of real ginger candy, but not as sweet. I am still getting used to the licorice flavor (just opened the bottle, as we are not out of the ginger flavor) and I like it as well. It seems a lot sweeter than the ginger, but licorice is quite naturally sweet anyway. With both of them there is a slight burning in the throat upon taking it, but I kind of like that feeling. Haven't tried peppermint yet, but now I wish I would have ordered all 3 flavors!

XXXX thinks the ginger is the most pleasant flavor out of all of them...but the thickness is not palatable for him. I like the licorice flavor but also can not get passed the thickness.

As per your request for feedback on the Emulsified CLO, I have used both the ginger and licorice now. I much prefer the licorice.Though I like ginger very much, in the context of the emulsion, I just did not like it - too thick and it just repulsed me. However, the same consistency with the licorice was fine for me. Go figure. :)

Our household has been consuming FCLO-Butter caps and gel for three or four years daily. As the person who takes the gel at room temp, I have to say the harder consistency and stronger tasdte of the unflavored gel will take getting used to. However my standby trick still works well - a cup of warm coffee! It still goes down fine with a gulp of coffee and a gulp for chaser with no aftertaste or burn. Definitely tasted stronger. Way stronger. Our coffee here at work is up to the task.

I'm having problems with the emulsified FCLO. Every time I want to take it I have to stir it vigorously for several minutes. Shaking will not dislodge the stuff that settles to the bottom of the bottle. If I don't vigorously stir it up it is extremely strong! Is there anything I can do to make this process less time consuming? Thanks, Henry

hello henry, not yet. it is inconvenient to mix as you describe but i am not willing to use some of the industrial means used by industry to solve the problem
