Skate
Skate liver oil is extracted from skate livers. Skate is different from cod in that it is a cartilaginous fish. It is found in the same subclass as sharks, and looks quite similar to a stingray.
Some of our customers find the skate liver oil is more beneficial to their bodies, especially in regards to joint health. It has almost the same nutritional profile as cod liver oil, with a slightly different omega-3 fatty acid ratio.
