My husband gave me a beautiful wedding band for Christmas one year. Simple and timeless. It is a precious reminder to me.
A road bicycle when I was around 12 years old. I rode it all around our neighborhood.
A two-person tent when I was a kid!
This year I received a tribute video to my five chickens made by my sweetie!! Best gift ever!!
oh i would love to try this!
One gift that I’ve received that I haven’t forgotten was a LEGO set I really wanted when I was a kid. 😀
A marriage proposal
Years ago, my father decided he wanted to buy himself a new wedding band, so once he’d picked one out, he’d asked the jeweler to cut his original ring in half (keeping my mother’s initials intact), add posts and backs and make a pair of earrings for me. I still wear them all the time. Thank you, Mom & Daddy! 😀
My grandfather gave me a lumberjack as a young boy. What made it special was he made it by hand and I was so impressed with him. In my mind he could have conquered the world. Love you Grampy!
Best Christmas gift I ever received? It sounds so lame, but a white fluffy robe. I got it in 2007 and it’s still going strong!
Most definitely my first puppy! I’ve rescued every kind of Animal since I could walk but we had just enough to get by and not enough time to care for a dog or cat, unfortunately but to my surprise after my Mother put herself through nursing school, she bought me a puppy when I was 10. I named her Abbey and she was my best friend for the next 8 years until she had horrible arthritis and that being 30 years ago, my Mother decided to put her to sleep and I know in my heart Abbey is waiting in Heaven along with all the others I’ve been so blessed with all these years. My pastor said Animals don’t have souls but there are Animals in Heaven. After flatlining and visiting heaven, I truly believe that’s exactly where they go. Dog isn’t spelled GOD backwards by coincidence;) RIP, Abbey girl! For anyone who has ever felt the genuine Love from a Dog or any Animal and had to say goodbye, I truly understand that heartbreak but our time here is short in comparison to eternity and we will see them again.
a doll house 🙂
Real cowboy boots from my wife.
When I was 2 or 3 years old, I received a walking doll who was almost as tall as me. It was as if I had received a friend to walk with me.
I got a rampage nerf gun one Christmas and we had an awesome big nerf battle that day, I won’t forget it.
My memorable gift was Smurfing Sing Song when I was 7. I wanted it so bad! I listened to it constantly and still sing the songs to my kids <3
Almost 18 years ago we drove home from the hospital with our newborn on Christmas.
My grandmother always gave my two sisters and I the same gift in different colors. One year we were given some perfume but it was in clear glass bottles the shape of bears! My perfume was the colour of lavender.
When I read “eucalyptus mint”, I could almost smell it and it took me back to my earliest memory of Christmas back in the 50’s. I was probably 3 and an my aunt Bernice gave me a little doll case. I had a tiny tears baby doll and was so excited to see what was inside because I was sure it had something to do with my dolly. It didn’t. It was a small, inexpensive pack of clove gum and because of the incredible aroma of that gum, I will never forget that Christmas or that gift. Thank you, Aunt Bernice! May you rest in peace

An engagement ring!
I don’t celebrate Christmas but I do acknowledge Christ is our King. ❤️

A saddle of my very OWN as I had been borrowing one for months!
1995 My husband bought me my first cell phone. Compared to today, it was like a heavy brick.
The year my brother and I got our first Nintendo. We became best friends playing Mario for hours!
I remember it vividly! I don’t know how she managed but mom found a way to give us ( my sister and me) CABBAGE PATCH Dolls when they were all the rage. She always made Christmas amazing. HAPPY ( human) BIRTHDAY JESUS
A very memorable gift was the Christmas that my parents bought and assembled a ping pong table in our basement probably when we were in middle school. It brought endless hours of fun for us and our friends.
A mother’s ring, with my kids birthstones and their names engraved. It was one of our first Christmas’s with both kids and hubs and I said no gifts for each other and he surprised me with it at the bottom of my stocking. He told me to check it and I was shocked in the best way ?
Used skis from the previous year’s inventory at the local retail shop. The best way to buy skis, imho
My first bicycle back in the late 70s, the banana seat, tassels on the handle bars… I put a lot of miles on it over the years.
Age 7 a fuzzy, furry, cuddly, just my size, Shetland Pony. His name was Tumbleweed. He had a large red ribbon wrapped around his thick, winter coat neck. Love at first sight. My parents seemed so proud they gifted me the best Christmas morning of my life.
Ticket to Grateful Dead New Years Eve concert at the Cow Palace.
Hunting camo… my first camo overalls and jacket…
I will always remember my mom getting me a glass Pyrex dish, the huge oversized one.I was 19 and wondered when i would ever use it. She died unexpectedly a few months later. 20+ years later, I still have it and think of her every time I use it.
The most memorable Christmas gift I received was a Barbie Dreamhouse in the 80’s. Santa was good to me that year 🙂
The one Christmas gift I received that I never forgot was in 1968 when I was 12 years old, my very first TV set from my father. It was a total surprise!!
